Has anyone built a DDR motorsports GT4? I am thinking of building one and wanted to get some opinions |

Huh. I didn't think they were still around. I saw the prototype years ago at a local show, then I thought McLaren had shut them down for copyright infringement. Good looking website they have... I've just never even heard or seen any of their cars on the road in recent years. Personally, I'd call or email them and ask for owners who have their cars and contact them. First hand knowledge and all that...

Hey Rick the dick I have recently bought My DDR Miami GT4 and it took them six months to build mine and last week was when I received mine and I can send you pictures if you like there still in great business just contact them in there website and they would gladly build you one and also it was inspired from a F1 but wasn't copied in any way if you don't know the proper information about them don't go amusing there out of business there a very good company and they work for you!!!!

Hey coldrat, You must be joking right? It is not a copy of the F1 in any way? It was a bit more than "Inspired" by the F1

The DDR is a great looking car but its just a fat copy of the F1. But really you need to read what Rick said "I didn't think they were still around" He was not aware they were still open. far cry from they are our of business. www.vwkitcars.com |

Rick, we still around. You can come and visit us at any time in Miami. You have an amazing mind. USA is a big country, how do you think that you're going to see our cars on the road continuously...??? I don't know what's your really name but I've never receive a call or mail from you....By the way, our car is on the cover page of the December issue of the Kit Car Builder magazine. Yeah, actually we did meet Diego - when you debuted the car at Carlisle back in '06, I think. Even then you mentioned there were some legal issues from McLaren. I never lied about anything - I simply stated I didn't think that you were still in business since not much had been heard from you in the following years. The car doesn't interest me so I never followed up to see what had happened. It's good to see that you have survived where other manufacturers have folded - congratulations on that!Coldrat... how nice of you to name call on a forum to someone you don't even know. I wonder how brave you'd be face to face.

Well I tried it and I got screwed. Guy kept giving me excuses and delays and didn't deliver, wont respond to request to resolve. I have had to hire an attorney and sue him. Be warned. Unfortunelty yet another kit car "maker" who is giving the business a bad name. Should have kept my money and bought a boat. I will let everyone know how it turns out. Hey Jamick, I was going to buy a Miami GT kit car until I saw your post here and checked out your website. Do you have any updates yet on the lawsuit? Would like to know if you won your case and put them out of business.

Hey John I have lately purchased My DDR Las vegas GT4 and it took them six several weeks to develop my own and a couple weeks ago was when I obtained my own and I can deliver you images if you like there still in excellent organization just get in touch with them in there web page and they would happily develop you one and also it was motivated from a F1 but wasn't duplicated in any way if you don't know the appropriate details about them don't go enjoyable there out of organization there a very excellent organization and they perform for you! |

DO NOT BUY a kit Car from DDR Motorsport. I know someone who did. Owner Diego Grullon has a lawsuit against him. Google search DDR LAWSUIT. You can read about it. There are many complaints telling of DDR motorsport not sending all of the parts needed with their cars. Long wait times. Not responding back to customers. After he takes their money it says, they don't get any help or parts needed to make the cars. Poor quality. There are a lot of bad business from there.
